Responsible for the Library and its staff, and ensuring that the Library meets its statutory duties, and charitable objectives.

The Librarian is responsible for developing the Strategic and Operational Plans, and ensuring that realistic objectives and targets are set, and that these are achieved. The Librarian also offers clear leadership to the Library and operates as the Accounting Officer, with responsibility for the Library’s budgets.

Responsible for corporate services at the Library, finance, business, building facilities, ICT, income generation and fundraising.
