Would you like to be the next Vice-President of the National Library of Wales?
The Welsh Government has published an advertisement for the appointment of the next Vice-President of the National Library.
The post has become vacant following the retirement of Arwel Ellis Owen after four years’ service. The Vice-President will work closely with the newly-appointed President of the Library, Sir Deian Hopkin and members of the Board.
‘Arwel Ellis Owen was a formidable Vice-President of the National Library of Wales. He was always ready and willing to undertake duties here in Aberystwyth and beyond the building and use his considerable talent and diligence to benefit the Library and Wales,’ said Andrew Green, Librarian of the National Library of Wales.
The closing date for applications is 2 February 2012.
