Here are examples of the images that we have:

  • photographs of musicians such as Joseph Parry and Pencerdd Gwalia along with photographs of choirs and bands
  • portraits in the form of oil paintings of singers such as Sir Geraint Evans, Bryn Terfel, Adelina Patti
  • striking pictures such as the picture of the ornate cup that Côr Caradog won in the Crystal Palace in 1872 and 1873. This is when people started referring to Wales as ‘the Land of Song’
  • posters of concerts and musical events e.g. pop concerts
