These are resources that the Library provides access to via subscription (i.e. they do not form part of the Library's core collections). Examples include 19th. Century British Library Newspapers, Early English Books Online and House of Commons Parliamentary Papers.
You automatically receive the right to access these External Resources when you apply for a reader's ticket, provided that you have a Welsh postcode.
On the External Resources page you will see a list of the available resources; choose the resource which you wish to view and click on the icon which allows you to logon using your reader's ticket - enter your reader's ticket number and password to gain access to the resource. You can also search the content of these resources from the search box at the top of the External Resources page.
The scheme is funded by the Welsh Government, and therefore to access this material you must have an address in Wales or a Welsh postcode.
Shibboleth is the system which controls access to our electronic resources, and enables our users to gain access to our External Resources from outside the Library.
