‘The Vanity of Childhood and Youth’ (1691) by Daniel Williams was translated into Welsh in 1728 under the title ‘Gwagedd mebyd a Ieuenctid’. Williams was a committed Presbyterian and a supporter of the Nonconformist movement. This publication was a religious text, aimed at the younger generation and included sermons and Catechisms.
