The National Library of Wales, in partnership with Google, have created a virtual tour of the building and some of it's treasures. This exciting technology allows anyone from around the world to take a digital tour of the largest library in Wales.
Questions and context have been added to the tour for teachers to use with their learners.
What is Google Expeditions?
You can download the Google Expeditions app on a tablet or phone for free from the Google Play or Apple Store to follow a vitrual tour. Teachers can lead an expedition from their device while the learners follow. By placing a phone/device in a viewer the learners can view 360° panoramas and 3D images.
How to download The National Library of Wales virtual tour?
After you've downloaded the Google Expeditions app on your device you can search for tours using the search option within the app. Search for 'The National Library of Wales' and follow the on-screen instructions.
