Takeover Day is when museums, galleries, historic homes, archives and heritage sites invite young people in to take over jobs normally done by adults.
The children of Ysgol Pen Rhos took over the Library this year as a part of Kids in Museums' Take Over Day! Here's a snapshot of the work they did.
Our second takeover day of the year! This time, Year 4 pupils from Ysgol Gymraeg Brynsierfel take over the National Library of Wales. The children worked hard across various areas of the Library.
Pupils from Ysgol Trimsaran and Ysgol Mynydd y Garreg organise items as they arrive in the collection,fetch books and other items from the collection for readers, install an exhibition, digitize items from the collection, monitor the safety of the building, work at our reception and guide visitors around our exhibitions.
