Rolling programme of items (Ground floor, Peniarth)
Indefinitely (Upper Central Hall, relocated to Peniarth during renovation work on the upper floors)
The Library’s exhibition service produces exciting, high quality public programmes, which include permanent and temporary exhibitions and associated educational and presentational activities. Through displaying and interpreting a variety of items we aim to reflect the Library’s collections and the cultural heritage of Wales.
The Library houses a number of exhibition spaces, including the Gregynog Gallery, which can boast the accolade of being Wales’ largest gallery, and Hengwrt, a purpose built space to show pre-1800 items, all of which enable us to showcase the collections in a contemporary, relevant and imaginative way and to share the treasures with as large an audience as possible.
Please be aware that food and drink are not allowed in the Library's exhibition areas.
