Collecting is an essential part of the Library’s work with a recent focus on capturing the diverse experiences of contemporary Wales. The Library has a wide variety of cultural and historical material that encompasses art works, archives, manuscripts, photographs, film, sound, maps and printed material. This is a chance to see a wide-ranging selection of recently acquired items that reflect Wales’ past, present and future. They are the choice of archivists, curators and librarians; items that reflect some of the highlights of our recent and on-going collecting.
