What's New? Recent Accessions

16 September 2017 - 16 December 2017

Collecting is an essential part of The National Library of Wales remit and strategy; the Library has a wide variety of cultural and historical material which encompasses art works, archives, manuscripts, photographs, film, sound, maps and printed material; items that reflect, as objectively as possible, all aspects of Wales’ past and present.

This is a chance to see a wide-ranging selection of acquisitions recently received on behalf of the Nation. They are the choice of archivists, curators and librarians; items that reflect some of the highlights of our on-going collecting.

The exhibition is no more than a snapshot of some of those resources; further riches can be explored via our Reading Rooms and the Library’s website.
