Come and play!

If you are looking for somewhere to visit with your family, look no further than the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth.

The Library has a Play Area for children aged 3 to 7 that is full of play activities that stimulate the senses and arouse curiosity. You will have the opportunity to:

  • build with blocks
  • colour and draw
  • shop, dress up and take part in role play
  • set up camp and read under the stars
  • venture on a trip to the seaside or the forest

You can come and visit the Play Area as a family, as a group of families or as Nursery Group or Cylch Meithrin, and it's all free. There is no need to book in advance - come to the National Library and follow the signs to the Play Area or ask at reception. The Library offers easy access for prams and nappy changing facilities.
