Over the coming months, Clip Corners will be opened across Wales to allow free and local access to view and listen to The National Library of Wales’ entire digitised audiovisual collection. Due to rights restrictions, it is not possible to make the entire collection viewable online, however its records will be searchable online.

Clip Corner Locations

The following Clip Corners are open:

  • The National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth (opened 27 March 2023)
  • Carmarthen Library, Carmarthen (opened 25 July 2023)
  • Llanrwst Library, Llanrwst (opened 12 January 2024)
  • Conwy Culture Centre, Conwy (opened 12 January 2024)
  • West Glamorgan Archive Service, Swansea (opened 15 January 2024)
  • South Wales Miners’ Library, Swansea (opened 15 January 2024)
  • Gwynedd Archives, Caernarfon (opened 15 July 2024)
  • Arts and Social Studies Library, Cardiff University, Cardiff (opened 11 October 2024)
  • Glamorgan Archives, Cardiff (opened 11 October 2024) 

Clip Corners will also be opened at the following locations over the coming months during the course of the Wales Broadcast Archive project:
