The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a music festival that takes place annually in the second week of July in Llangollen, North Wales. It is one of numerous big annual Eisteddfodau in Wales. Singers and dancers are invited from all over the world to participate in over twenty competitions, which is followed by a concert at the end of the day. Famous performers at Llangollen have included Luciano Pavarotti.
