Pride month is dedicated to the celebration and commemoration of LGBTQ+ community.It began after the Stonewall riots of 1969 in America. In this month parades, concerts and various events are held to raise awareness for the equal rights and justice of people who identify as LGBTQ+.
World Refugee Day was enacted on 20 June 2001, as a mark of respect to the 1951 Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees. Organized by the United Nations, it is designed to celebrate refugees all over the world.

The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a music festival that takes place annually in the second week of July in Llangollen, North Wales. Singers and dancers are invited from all over the world to participate in over twenty competitions, which is followed by a concert at the end of the day. Famous performers at Llangollen have included Luciano Pavarotti.
World Population Day is commemorated to raise awareness of the various issues associated with population such as the importance of family planning, maternal health, poverty and human rights . It was established by the United Nations as a result of the massive interest people had in Five Billion Day in 1987.
Nelson Mandela International Day is an annual international day in honour of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela,a South African anti-apartheid activist and politician .it is celebrated in appreciation of the 67 years that Nelson Mandela spent fighting for justice, equality and human rights for all.
Sesiwn Fawr Dolgellau is an annual Celtic and international music festival held in the town of Dolgellau in Wales. The event was founded in 1992, and in the early years it was held in the streets of the town before moving to the Marian Mawr site for a while. It is now back in the centre of the town, and turns the streets of Dolgellau into a lively folk festival, with music, literature, comedy and children’s activities that are staged across various locations.
The National Eisteddfod of Wales is the largest of numerous Eisteddfodau that are held annually in Wales. Considered to be the largest music and poetry festival in Europe with about 150,000 visitor in attendance and over 250 trade stands. The festival travels, alternating between the north and south of Wales. It is the hallmark of the celebration of welsh art, language and culture dating back to as far as 1176.
The International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples is observed annually to awaken consciousness, defend the rights and environment of the world's indigenous communities around the world. According to the united nation, there are 476 million indigenous peoples in the world living across 90 countries.
International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief is a United Nations-sponsored annual awareness day to speak up against religious bigotry and persecution globally.
