Appointment of Vice President
The Minister for Culture and Sport, John Griffiths, has appointed Tricia Carter as Vice-president of the Library for a term of 4 years beginning on 1 April. Mrs Carter has been a member of the Library’s Board of Trustees since March 2010, having been appointed by Welsh Government.
Mrs Carter is a successful businesswoman who has specialised in strategic planning and marketing in the IT industry and has a wealth of experience in higher education management. She has served as Vice President and Chair of the Council of the University of Wales Lampeter and as Chair of the Ethical Standards Committee for the Dyfed Powys Police Authority, and is currently a pension trustee of the Trinity St David Trust Pension Scheme.
