Calling Volunteers
Have you started thinking about your New Year's resolution?
Have you got some free time each week?
How about volunteering at The National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth?
We are looking for a team of enthusiastic bilingual volunteers, who love to meet new people and able to deal with people of various needs and backgrounds:
Tasks include:
- Welcoming and chatting with visitors;
- Directing visitors to the various facilities within the building;
- Assist with events;
- Distribute leaflets, conducting surveys and consultations;
- Supporting guided tours around the building.
In 2015 the Library was successful in receiving Visit Wales Gold Award. The Visit Wales Gold Award rewards outstanding quality, exceptional comfort and hospitality in the serviced sector in Wales. The award also recognises businesses that have been successful in a Mystery Shopper exercise to test their customer interaction skills. Here is your opportunity to assist us to maintain this high standard.
Be part of the Library's activity by helping us to enrich the experience of those who visit the building and seek their feedback on our service.
