The National Library of Wales appoints  Chief Executive and Librarian

The National Library of Wales Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Tomos as the interim Chief Executive and Librarian.

Sir Deian Hopkin, President of The National Library said:

‘I am very pleased that the Board of Trustees has appointed Linda Tomos as the new interim Chief Executive and Librarian. Linda has had a long association with the Library through her various roles within Welsh Government. Having been an observer on our Board for nine years, she is herself a qualified librarian with a distinguished record in the field of information management.’

Linda will be retiring from her role as Director of MALD (Museums, Archives and Libraries Division), Welsh Government on 31 October 2015 and will commence work at the Library on 1 November 2015.
