The Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar to mark the harvest season in Chinese culture. it is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture with a history that spans over 3,000 years. During the festival, lanterns symbolising prosperity and good fortune are displayed, and mooncakes are traditionally eaten with family and friends .
