Videoconferencing

The National Library has its own Video Conferencing studio. It uses the current H.323 protocols to provide audio-visual communication sessions on any packet network. The studio currently consists of a CODEC, large TV screen and a HD camera. We are planning to provide other VC peripheral services in the future. The studio is administered by the Digital Infrastructure Department and supported by Welsh Video Network (WVN).

Communication between any Janet connected establishment is made via Vscene, but direct calls and multi-party calls can also be made.

Bookings made through the Vscene website will connect automatically and send a confirmation email to the named conference contact.

For further information or to book the studio please call Visitor Services on 01970 632800 or email visitor-services(at)llgc.org.uk.
