Below is a variety of audiovisual material focusing heavily on the aftermath of the Disaster and the rebuilding of the community, including the opening of Ynysowen Junior School, the initial planning for the Aberfan Community Centre, and footage showing the initial removal of the tips at Aberfan. 

Several clips show Aberfan decades later, notably in the documentary Oh What a Morning and Aberfan - 25 Years of Experience. Both include recollections of people's lived experiences at the time of the Disaster, showing that while the community has overcome such a historic tragedy, it will remain embedded in families' memories:
