Spring 2025: Art workshops at the National Library of Wales

During the spring, the National Library's Education Service will present workshops based on the 'No Welsh Art' exhibition. The visits will be an opportunity for learners to enjoy over 250 Welsh artworks of national significance, in the Library's largest exhibition space, the Gregynog Gallery. The main theme of the workshops will be identity, and the activities will focus on how we see ourselves as individuals, and how others portray us and our 'cynefin’.

We can deliver the following workshops without any extra preparatory work. We can adapt the content to suit your needs. Please contact us if you would like to book or discuss one of the workshops below, or enquire about arranging a workshop on another theme.

  • The Second World War in Wales
  • The drowning of Tryweryn
  • The Tudors
  • Portraits
  • The Monasteries
  • Kyffin Williams
  • The Mabinogi
  • Scientists from Wales
