The National Library of Wales Education Service can deliver the following workshops and activities to support the Welsh Baccalaureate 2015 specification.
In this popular session students use items from the Library's collection to learn how to cite information in their Individual Project and how to create a full reference for their Bibliography or Reading List. They work with books, magazines, newspapers, audio visual material, images, web sources and other items in the Library's collections.
The session can be delivered in the Library building with original materials or in the school with facsimile copies of items and is available through the medium of Welsh, English or bilingually.
These workshops are designed around various themes and use the Library's collections to assist learners in developing the seven essential and employability skills. We can prepare new themes to suit your needs as long as the resources are available at the Library.
The workshops are delivered through the medium of Welsh, English or bilingually and as pupils work with original items from the collections they are only available in the Library building.
We have developed several community challenges around individual projects within the Library and have submitted these to the WJEC for approval. More information can be found on the WJEC website.
