The National Screen & Sound Archive of Wales which is located in the National Library includes a large amount of Welsh music material. Here are some examples from the archive:

  • old records including John Davies’ important collection of early Welsh records
  • tapes and broadcasts of musical items
  • CD’s
  • in 1999 the Library published a CD called ‘Y Deryn Pur’, which includes examples of recordings from the collection
  • copies of all of Sain’s productions
