Thomas Roberts was a pamphleteer and a prominent member of the London-Welsh societies at the end of the eighteenth century. In this publication Roberts attacks the tithe payment structure and the Established Church in more general terms. He also seeks for a law and legislative system that operates through the Welsh language in Wales. The author was highly influenced by the French Revolution.
