The Welsh Women’s Peace Petition is one of the great acts of Welsh history and remains one of the largest peace petitions ever organised by women anywhere in the world. It began with a belief, that even in the shadow of war, the quiet determination of women could carry a message strong enough to cross oceans. This spirit runs deep throughout Welsh history. For generations, people in Wales have raised their voices against injustice, and continue to do so today.
