2024 marks the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society and Royal Welsh Show. In this exhibition we celebrate the ‘Sioe Fawr’, one of the largest agricultural shows in Europe. Taking place in July each year, it was originally held in Aberystwyth in 1904. Various locations were used up until 1963, when it found its permanent home in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells.

In this exhibition we look at how both the Show and agriculture have evolved over the decades through photographs by Geoff Charles, Arvid Parry-Jones and Haydn Denman.
